Give The Benefit of Your Greatest Gift
How do we help those who have lost hope or are in depression or despair and don’t know how to find that energy of exuberance and joy?
"...You have to allow them. You have to give them their authenticity and their ability to step in to who they are and what they want to experience in this life and know that if you are exuding as much as you can that is your truth and your authentic self - and if you are making sure you are extending that compassion and empathy to them, then there you are, living as full in grace as you can possibly do and - you are giving them the benefit of your greatest gift. This is something so many of you in human form resist because it doesn’t seem like enough. If it wasn’t solved and they didn’t move forward and they didn’t get better then it failed. It wasn’t good enough.
Yet, of course, dear friends, you have to realize that you cannot walk another's path for them. All you can do is shower them with as much love and acceptance as you can, as you are capable of emitting. You give that to them. You are authentically you. You offer it in every way you have. Then they walk their path. If that path moves in a different direction than yours, or it seems to resist and refuse and deny the help, then so be it. All you can do is answer the quest with an idea that you are being true and all that you have is that to give.
That, indeed, carries much more with it than you realize. Even if you don’t see the results and somehow someone doesn’t jump up and become more hopeful and less depressed and more joyful, you have to acknowledge that you have given them all you can and continue to do so and send them on their way with as much energy and as much hope as you can hold and then see where they go..."
